Delhi Police seeks to retain 273 CAPF companies till Oct 20 amid SIR protests

Delhi Police has sought an extension of the deployment of 273 CAPF companies from the Union Home Ministry till October 20 amid the ongoing SIR row. It cited the possibility of demonstrations and law-and-order challenges as reasons for the request. Notably, the I.N.D.I.A bloc held a march towards the Supreme Court on Monday, demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
