Samsung has named Kyung-Ah Kim as President and Chief Executive Officer of Samsung Bioepis. This is the first time that the South Korean conglomerate has appointed a woman outside its founding family as the CEO of a group company. Kyung-Ah Kim has been working in various leadership posts at Samsung's biopharmaceutical arm for nine years.
