LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka credited ex-BCCI Secretary Jay Shah after RCB and RR were sold for around ₹16,800 crore and ₹15,300 crore, respectively. He said the value was built by IPL's architecture and the way broadcast and digital rights were structured. Goenka stated the governance gave brands confidence to invest, adding, "Much of this traces back to Jay Shah's vision."
