Archaeologists employing remote sensing methods unearthed a mysterious L-shaped structure beneath the western cemetery near the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. The cemetery contains burials of royal family members and high-ranking officials. Found roughly 6.5 feet below the surface, the structure spans at least 33 feet in length. Researchers believe it was filled with sand after construction.
