The RBI issued a statement after HDFC Bank's part-time Chairman, Atanu Chakraborty, resigned, citing ethical concerns. "Basis our periodical assessment, there are no material concerns on record as regards [the bank's] conduct or governance," it said. "The bank remains well-capitalised and the financial position of the bank remains satisfactory with sufficient liquidity," it added.
