The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday released a list of hottest cities in India. Madhya Pradesh's Hoshangabad recorded the highest maximum temperature with 43.2°C. The other cities that recorded over 41°C include Malegaon (42.6°C), Barmer (42.4°C), Surendranagar (42°C), Damoh (41.8°C), Amraoti (41.8°C), Ahmedabad (41.7°C) and Kota (41.7°C), as per IMD list.
