Jharkhand minister and Congress leader Alamgir Alam has been placed under a six-day remand by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. The ED recovered ₹35.23 crore from his personal secretary's household. Following his arrest, Alam underwent a medical examination and was found to have slightly high but normal blood pressure.
