Nepal's President Ram Chandra Paudel's economic advisor, Chiranjivi Nepal, resigned on Sunday. His resignation came a week after he criticised the Nepal government's decision to issue 100 rupee currency note with a map showing the disputed Indian territories of Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura and Kalapani. Chiranjivi had reportedly termed the decision of printing new map on the notes as "inappropriate".
