Jharkhand minister Alamgir Alam was arrested on Wednesday by ED in connection with the seizure of bundles of cash worth over ₹32 crore from the househelp of his personal secretary, Sanjiv Lal. Alam was earlier summoned by ED in connection with the seizure, with the probe agency asking him to appear before it on May 14.
