Slovakia's Prime Minister Robert Fico is no longer in a life-threatening condition after he was shot on Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister Tomas Taraba said. Fico was shot in an assassination attempt when leaving a government meeting. The gunman shot the Slovak PM five times, initially leaving him in critical condition and undergoing surgery hours later on Wednesday evening.
