Having assumed office on May 26, 2014, he completed 4,399 days in office on June 10, 2026, surpassing Jawaharlal Nehru's 4,398-day tenure after the 1952 election. Indira Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, and Atal Bihari Vajpayee follow with 4,078, 3,657, and 2,257 days, respectively.
