Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department has shared tips to avoid dog bites. "If a dog attacks, assume the position of a rock. Curl into a ball and protect your face and body," it advised. It also advised to avoid direct eye-contact with dogs. "If a growling dog gets close to you, pretend to be a tree, stand still," it added.
