At least three women were infected with HIV while getting 'vampire facials' in US. Vampire facial, also called platelet-rich plasma microneedling, is a procedure where a person's blood is drawn and platelets are separated. These are then injected into the face using microneedles. It's said the procedure can make skin look better by reducing wrinkles and scars by boosting collagen.
