Supporters of Nepal’s deposed royal family rallied in Kathmandu, demanding restoration of monarchy ahead of March polls. Chanting "We love our king. Bring back the king," protesters voiced support for ousted King Gyanendra, the last monarch of Shah dynasty, which was founded in 18th century. Gyanendra was forced to step down in 2008, when Nepal abolished monarchy and became republic.
