Assam Police on Thursday warned strict legal action would be taken against anyone spreading rumours about shortage of LPG and other petroleum products. Taking to X, Assam Police advised citizens not to forward misleading claims that could cause confusion. This comes after Assam Chief Secretary Ravi Kota said local refineries in the state were asked to ramp up production.
