Seat kids aged up to 12 with at least one parent: DGCA to airlines

Aviation regulator DGCA directed airlines to ensure that children up to the age of 12 be allotted seats with at least one of their parents/guardians who are travelling on the same PNR. DGCA directed airlines to maintain a record of the same. It also permitted airlines to charge for services like preferential seating, meals/snacks/drinks and carriage of musical instruments.
