Russia said it'd struck Ukraine with new hypersonic missile 'Oreshnik' in response to Kyiv's use of US and British missiles against Russia. The US described 'Oreshnik' as a variant of Russia's RS-26 ballistic missile, which is a 40-tonne, solid-fuelled missile. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Oreshnik can't be intercepted as it travels at 10 times the speed of sound.
