At least 26 Indians have been killed and seven others have gone missing in the Russia-Ukraine war since 2022, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh informed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. The minister stated that 202 Indian nationals have been recruited into the Russian armed forces since 2022 out of which 119 have been discharged.
