Veteran NASA astronaut Don Pettit has shared one of his favourite photographs captured during his latest mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). The photo showing the Milky Way arching across space above Earth's glowing horizon is among nearly 1.2 million raw images he captured during the 208-day mission. The photo was taken from Cupola, ISS's iconic seven-window observation module.
