A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking community service of at least seven days for students who hurled abuses during protests against the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Requesting that no FIRs should be lodged against the students, the petitioner said, "That will create more acrimony in the society." The apex court has agreed to hear the plea.
