A senior Hamas official has claimed that the group may relocate to Jordan from Qatar if forced to do so. The official, Mousa Abu Marzouk, claimed that Hamas leaders are in Qatar because the US 'forced' Doha to host them. However, Jordan has dispelled the official's proposal. Notably, the Hamas leadership was expelled from Jordan in 1999.
