After BJP-led Mahayuti's win in the Maharashtra Assembly poll, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray said, "They've won now, and I've no problem congratulating them." He, however, added, "I cannot believe that Maharashtra would desert us so badly...There's definitely some 'gadbad' that has taken place." Thackeray said that what probably went wrong for MVA was that "we behaved civilly".
