Poll experts have highlighted 37 bellwether seats in West Bengal which have accurately predicted eventual winner in the State Assembly elections since 1977, reported NDTV. These 37 seats make up about 13% of the total 294 constituencies and include Bhabanipur, Diamond Harbour, Ausgram, Udaynarayanpur and Magrahat East. Bellwether seat acts as a trend indicator of the entire geographical location.
