Samsung Southwest Asia President and CEO JB Park said the South Korean company has no current plans to launch an IPO in India. He stated that there are "multiple options" apart from an IPO to secure the required working capital. Samsung rival LG Electronics listed its Indian unit on the stock market in October after a ₹11,607-crore IPO.
