Senior BJP leader and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan introduced the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) or "VB-G RAM G Bill" in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Bill will replace Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). Under the Bill, the number of guaranteed work days will be increased to 125 from 100.
