America's E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System monitors and controls the air wars. Built on modified Boeing 707 platform, the aircraft is equipped with a large rotating radar dome that allows it to monitor airspace over a radius of over 250 miles. It contains radar subsystem that permits surveillance from Earth's surface up into stratosphere, over land or water.
