Activist Sonam Wangchuk, while announcing he would join Cockroach Janta Party's protest, said he is happy with India's National Education Policy but disappointed by its poor implementation. "If you see on-ground implementation of Viksit Bharat Abhiyan, even you would feel disappointed," he added. Wangchuk said the June 6 protest is for demanding Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation.
