Violent protests have erupted in Bangladesh following the death of radical leader Sharif Osman Hadi, who was behind the movement that ousted former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Hadi was shot in the head by masked assailants last Friday while launching his election campaign in Dhaka. He died of the injuries on Thursday while being treated in Singapore.
