Iran has successfully deployed and installed a massive 6,200-tonne offshore oil platform at the Reshadat oil field in the Persian Gulf. The 6,200-tonne P4 platform is expected to increase production by 35,000 barrels per day and can also inject 80,000 barrels of water daily to sustain reservoir pressure. Iranian officials said the massive structure was fully designed and built domestically.
