Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan said Union government has “practically ended” MGNREGA by replacing it with VB G RAM G Bill. “MGNREGA was a right-driven scheme, where every rural family had fundamental right to work for at least 100 days at minimum wages and would receive money from government,” he added. Bhushan said government has made it a budget-driven scheme.
