Bengaluru Metro announced a revision of metro ticket prices on Saturday, with minimum fare now standing at ₹10 for travelling up to 2 km. The maximum ticket fare has seen a hike of 50% from ₹60 to ₹90. The revised prices came into effect from Sunday. This comes a month after the Karnataka government increased bus fares by 15%.
