The CBI dismantled a major cybercrime network operating out of Noida and arrested six members for defrauding American nationals of approximately $8.5 million (₹77 crore) over a three-year period. The crackdown was based on inputs from the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). According to CBI, the accused duped victims by posing as officials from various US government agencies.
