GT pacer Kagiso Rabada became only the fourth player in IPL history to win the Purple Cap twice. Rabada, who also won the award in 2020, finished IPL 2026 as the tournament's highest wicket-taker with 29 wickets. He joined Dwayne Bravo, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel on the list of players to have won the Purple Cap more than once.
