Students of Panjab University (PU) got into a scuffle with police personnel during a protest over the central government's decision to dissolve the university senate. In a video, the students were seen participating in a rally and holding posters criticising the move. The Centre reduced the strength of the senate from 90 to 31, including seven ex-officio members.
