Aravind Srinivas-led Perplexity topped a survey that asked attendees at the Cerebral Valley AI Conference in San Francisco which billion-dollar AI startup they would bet against. The informal survey of more than 300 attendees ranked OpenAI second. Commenting on the survey, Perplexity spokesperson Jesse Dwyer said, "Geeze, it sounds more like the judgmental valley conference."
