1,190 kg of adulterated laddoos & boondi seized by Maha FDA in Pune

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seized 1,190 kg of motichoor laddoos and boondi, worth about ₹1,73,950, from Gayatri Laddoo Bhandar in Pune's Kondhwa Budruk. Officials found that the unit was using food colour beyond the permitted limits and was not following the hygiene and safety standards required for making food. The confiscated sweets were subsequently destroyed by authorities.
