The Indian Railways ran a special "unity" train to take about 1,000 people from PM Narendra Modi's Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Gujarat's Narmada district for the unveiling of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's Statue of Unity. "This was a special train to mark the 143rd birth anniversary of Sardar Patel," Northern Railway Spokesperson Deepak Kumar said.
