2.25-foot emerald idol worth crores stolen from Tamil Nadu temple

An emerald idol of Lord Murugan, worth crores, was stolen from a hill-top temple in Tamil Nadu after thieves breached the three-layer security system. Access to the temple is protected by three heavy security doors, iron shutters, and an alarm system, along with CCTV cameras installed at strategic points. Two people allegedly broke into the temple and stole the idol.
