Amazon bars customers from filing class-action lawsuits in US

Amazon has reinstated binding arbitration for US customers, barring them from pursuing class-action lawsuits and making it harder to address grievances in court. It said the changes are effective immediately, and customers who agree to the terms can continue to use its services. Amazon had revoked binding arbitration five years ago after facing tens of thousands of costly individual cases.
