Apple fined record $1.23 billion by France for anti-competitive behaviour

France's antitrust body fined Apple $1.2 billion for engaging in anti-competitive behavior and misuse of economic dependence on its resellers. Tech Data and Ingram Micro, two wholesalers of Apple, were fined $85 million and $70 million, respectively. The case started in 2012 when independent resellers complained about uncompetitive practices including taking supplies in favour of its own stores.
