A baby in Missouri, US was born without eyes due to an extremely rare genetic disorder, known as anophthalmia - a birth defect in which one or both eyes do not develop fully so they are small and disorganized. This condition is so rare, that so far there are only 30 recorded cases of anophthalmia.
