Barcelona handed ₹64,000 fine for approaching Atletico Madrid forward Alvarez

Barcelona have been fined €602 (nearly ₹64,000) by the Spanish FA following Atletico Madrid's complaint over their approach for striker Julian Alvarez. Atletico accused Barcelona of contacting the Argentina forward, whose contract runs until June 2030, without first notifying the club in writing. Atletico also complained to FIFA, which said it had no jurisdiction over the case.
