BDA plans to acquire 1,427 acres for Bengaluru’s PRR-2

The BDA plans to acquire 1,427 acres for Bengaluru’s 52-km PRR-2 project. The proposed 10-lane road will connect highways towards Hosur, Mysuru and Tumakuru. The acquisition is expected to affect around 1,126 landowners across 30 villages. Local farmers have opposed the plan, demanding compensation based on current market values before acquisition proceeds.
