Billionaire Founder of internet company Kakao to donate half of his assets

Kim Beom-su, the 54-year-old Founder of South Korea's top mobile-messenger operator Kakao, vowed to donate over half of his assets. Kim, who once lived in a room shared by seven family members, told his employees, "I have pledged to donate over half of my assets to solve social issues." Forbes described Kim as the nation's "biggest gainer" during COVID-19 pandemic.
