A BJP delegation, including Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju, Piyush Goyal, and Sukanta Majumdar, urged ECI to file an FIR against West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for allegedly warning that voters supporting the BJP in the Assembly polls "will not be spared". They claimed her statements breached the Model Code of Conduct. They also sought her disqualification from campaigning for elections.
