The BJP has given up its claim to a Rajya Sabha seat in Andhra Pradesh amid reports of ex-Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai's exit, as per a report. Under revised formula, NDA allies Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party (JSP) will get three and one seats respectively. BJP was earlier supposed to get one seat.
