BMC approves ₹11.28 cr audit of construction site air monitors

Mumbai's civic standing committee approved a ₹11.28-crore, three-year contract to audit 9,000 sensor-based air quality monitors at construction sites. The contract was awarded to Mahabal Enviro Engineers Pvt Ltd. The audit follows a January 2025 Bombay High Court order mandating monitor installation. Congress questioned the 22-month delay in initiating the tender process.
