Brazilian Olympic diver Ian Matos died aged 32 following illness after suffering from a lung infection. He was admitted to a hospital for around two months. Matos had competed in the men’s synchronised three-metre springboard at the 2016 Olympics in Rio and won three bronze medals at the 2010 South American Games. Matos had come out as gay in 2014.
