BJP chief JP Nadda criticised Congress government in disaster-hit Himachal Pradesh for burdening the public with higher taxes and prices. He said that while Centre provided relief on cement, reducing its price by ₹30, state government "increased the price of cement instead of lowering it". He added, "Congress government is attempting to fill its coffers. This is immoral and insensitive."
