Chinese authorities executed Xu Yao, a senior executive and lawyer at Yoozoo Games, for murdering billionaire gaming tycoon and Yoozoo Games' Founder Lin Qi in 2020. Xu poisoned Lin for sidelining him after he helped him land a Netflix deal for the series '3 Body Problem'. At the time of death, Lin was estimated to be worth around $941 million.
