Crows given naloxone after suspected drug overdoses in Canada

More than a dozen crows in Prince George, Canada, have suffered suspected drug overdoses this year, prompting rescuers to use nasal naloxone. The Good Caws Crow Rescue Society says most affected birds recovered within 24 hours and were released. Volunteers suspect the birds encounter toxic drugs while scavenging through accessible garbage in the downtown area. An investigation is underway.
